Ingredients:
125g butter or margarine
25g fresh yeast
400ml milk
100ml (250g) wheat flour
Method:
- Melt the butter and let it cool down.
- Crumble the yeast into a mixing bowl and stir in the milk. Add flour and continue stirring to a smooth batter.
- Stir in the melted butter and let the batter rise for 20 minutes.
- Cook the waffles in waffle iron suggestions when serving:
Sweet toppings:
-Serve with sugar mixed with cinnamon on top, or
-Spread some butter and jam, or
-Pour on some melted chocolate or
Savory toppings:
-Have it with some curry
-Melted cheese and tomato sauce
-Devilled sausages
